EMUS introduces high accuracy CAN Current Sensor!
EMUS introduces a high-accuracy CAN Current Sensor, designed for accurate current measurement in battery management systems (BMS) or other CAN-based electrical systems. This sensor offers a robust alternative to traditional Hall effect sensors, with the added advantage of galvanic isolation between the sensor and the conducting part, allowing for flexible installation anywhere in the battery pack.
The device continuously measures the current at a 100ms rate and transmits real-time data via CAN communication to the Control Unit, ensuring seamless integration with the overall BMS architecture. The sensor is also available in configurations with either 1 or 3 voltage measurement ports, giving users customizable options to match their specific application requirements. This flexibility, along with the high accuracy and safety features, makes the EMUS CAN Current Sensor an indispensable component in high-performance battery systems.
