• Conduct rigorous testing of software, hardware, and firmware according to specifications and industry standards
• Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and test cases to validate the functionality and performance of a Battery Management Systems
• Identify and anticipate potential problems that users may encounter, ensuring a seamless user experience
• Manage the bug life cycle, including efficient bug reporting, tracking, analysis, and verification
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development of new projects and ensure the adherence to quality standards

Requirements

• Solid knowledge in electronics.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and find effective solutions to problems.
• Exceptional attention to details and a commitment to deliver high-quality results
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken

Advantages

• Experience working with task tracking tools such as Jira
• Previous experience in firmware/hardware testing
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools
• Basic knowledge of any programming language
• Understanding of RS232, CAN communication protocols

Job description

• Development of complementing IoT / Telematic system for BMS (Battery Management System) produced by EMUS
• Development of IoT portal server side back-end and front-end components (JavaScript , Python)
• Implementation of user interface elements on IoT portal site (JavaScript)
• Development of data control and collection embedded electronics unit software (C)
• Development and server back-end application of mathematical algorithms for BMS systems monitoring and analysis (SQL/non-SQL Databases / Python)
• Maintenance and improvement of existing software code for individual system’s components
• Release of updates and maintenance of relevant user documentation
• Analysis and implementation of new technologies (machine learning, analytics algorithms, etc.)

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years working with IoT applications is highly desired, application of MQTT or similar, REST API, security and cryptography principles
• JavaScript and Python professional programming experience
• Good knowledge of C/C++
• Good knowledge of SQL databases usage, non-SQL database knowledge is bonus
• Professional experience with Git control system
• Good knowledge of Linux OS type systems
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Motivation to learn, develop and improve
• Higher education in the field of programming and desirable electronics
• Excellent knowledge of English
